2. Stroll Down Main Street

Downtown Ann Arbor has a lot to offer visitors and locals alike, especially when it comes to shopping! There are over 40 unique shops along the street selling everything from high-end fashion, books, and antiques to home decor, coffee shops, and art. There are also many restaurants in the area to choose from, making it an ideal place for a date night!

3. Take a Hike in West Park

West park is located in Ann Arbor right along the Huron River. The park has plenty of walking trails and even some historic structures such as the Leslie E. Tassell Shelterhouse. The park is named after William Leslie who bought the property in 1872 and built a farmhouse. There are also benches throughout the trails to take a rest or simply enjoy the view of the river or some of Ann Arbor’s amazing sunsets!

4. Visit the Nichols Arboretum

The Nichols Arboretum is a 210-acre arboretum that was created in 1927 by University of Michigan professor, William Nichols. The Arboretum has over 4,000 different species of plants including the largest publicly owned collection of Japanese maples, which are located along the Native Plant Garden Trail. There are also trails to explore and you might even see some wildlife!

The A2B Antique Market is one of the most well-known antique malls in Ann Arbor, with over 80 different dealers offering everything from mid-century modern furniture to custom lighting and even vintage clothing. The Ann Arbor Farmers Market is located on Main Street downtown and it’s open every Saturday from mid-April through late November. At the market, you’ll find Michigan grown produce, flowers, baked goods, meat, cheese, honey, and much more! It’s definitely an experience to be had!

7. Attend a Sporting Event at Michigan Stadium
